This policy explains how Scamany (scamany.com) handles data when you visit the site. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Scope and operator
This policy covers every page on scamany.com. The site is operated by Scamany, reachable at support@scamany.com .
Data we collect
Scamany requires no account, has no sign-up forms and does not collect readers’ names, phone numbers or addresses.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you send (including attachments).
Automatic technical data
Our hosting provider may log connection data such as IP address, browser type, time of access and the page requested, to operate and protect the service. Scamany does not run its own behavioural analytics.
Browser storage
The site uses your browser’s local storage (localStorage) to remember two choices. This data stays on your device and is not sent to Scamany’s servers:
- lang — the language you selected;
- consent — your choice about advertising cookies.
Advertising and third-party cookies
When advertising is enabled, the site uses Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
Scamany uses Google Consent Mode v2: all ad-related storage is denied by default until you agree. If you choose "Basic ads only", only non-personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Purposes and legal bases
We process data to:
- answer emails, corrections and rights requests — at your request;
- run, secure and prevent abuse of the site — legitimate interests;
- show personalised ads — only with your consent.
Retention
Emails are kept as long as needed to handle the request and for at most 24 months, unless longer retention is required by law or to resolve a dispute. Technical logs are kept according to the hosting provider’s configuration. Browser storage remains until you clear it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data Scamany holds (mainly emails you sent), object to processing and withdraw cookie consent. Send requests to support@scamany.com ; we respond within 30 days.
International transfers
Our hosting provider and Google may process data in countries other than where you live, under their own policies and safeguards.
Children
Scamany is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have received a child’s data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the effective date at the top. Significant changes are announced on the home page.
